Whisky, life and style. The only whisky festival of Bratislava is back! Event for lovers of quality spirits will be held again in April. It doesn't matter if you are completely new to whisky or whether you are an avid whisky lover - the Bratislava festival caters to everyone. You can even attend one of many masterclasses, where whisky experts will guide you through a tasting of their handpicked whiskies.
The fourth annual Whisky Fest Bratislava will be traditionally held in the beautiful Pálffy Palace in the historical centre of the Slovakia's capital city. Choose from plenty of different whiskies, including those, that are yet unavailable on the Czech or Slovak markets.
Take part at masterclasses lead by various whisky experts and brand ambassadors who themselves pick out different whiskies they wish to introduce to you. Think of a masterclass as a guided tasting session. They will help you recognize the different aromas and flavours that make each whisky unique.
Meet the brand ambassadors and experts, get to talk to them and ask them any questions you can think of. You will have a unique opportunity to learn about them and be introduced to them. Those of you who do not usually drink spirits are of course also invited.
Every year an interesting guest speaker is invited to organise a special masterclass for the visitors, and this year you may welcome Stano Vadrna. Stano is a worldclass bartender from Slovakia who will organise a 1.5 hour long seminar on hospitality and whisky peppered with anecdotes from his life in the industry, as well as a Nikka whisky masterclass.
An evening of drinks, chance to taste various whiskies, live music, bag pipes, kilts, cigars, food... Boredom will not be an option! So, see you on April 12th and 13th, 2018 in Bratislava!
