In July, a town of Spišská Nová Ves, considered to be a gateway to Slovak Paradise National Park, lures its visitors to enjoy an extraordinary event. It is one of the oldest such events in Slovakia.
Continuing the tradition of annual markets with royal privileges awarded centuries ago, The fair is held in the mid-July in the city centre at the Old Town Hall Square and nearby streets of the town of Spišská Nová Ves.
