The 24th edition of the Slovakia and Europe's Championship in cooking and eating of "bryndzové halušky" (potato dumplings with melted sheep cheese and bacon) will again take place in the Pohronie village of Turecká.

and exhibition of folk crafts
associated with the sale of traditional products. You will see the best male and female chefs, male and female eaters competing even in a completely new category "Dumplings of thousand flavours". Fun and fanciful program is prepared for big and small visitors of the event, with a marathon of fun continuing until dawn.
A two-day festival
celebrating the Slovak national dish is organised annually in the central Slovakia
mountain village of Turecká
. Two categories take place - Traditional Bryndzové Halušky and A Thousand Tastes of Halušky. The winning team needs to be able to cook and eat their food on time in the first one, while the other competition is focused exclusively on the quality of the meal.
