The village of Krásnohorská Dlhá Lúka in the Gemer region will be the centre of the most popular orienteering event in Slovakia, the Slovak Karst Cup. The event takes place at the turn of July and August.
The organisers have prepared one of the most beautiful and interesting terrains in the Slovak Karst. The first two stages will be held at Plešivecká planina plateau, and the last two at Silická planina plateau. Enthusiasts can also compete in night orienteering at Silická planina plateau.The beautiful terrains should attract around 600-700 participants of all ages from across Europe. Participants will enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Gemer region and nearby Slovak Paradise.
Except for competitors who have already registered, registration is also possible on the spot for easy track orienteering competitions.. More information in a downloadable file with the event schedule.
