The modern ski resort in Oravice is surrounded by the beautiful panorama of the Western Tatras, situated in the north of Slovakia a few kilometres from the border with Poland.
SKI Oravice is the only resort in Slovakia with a unique connection to swimming and relaxing in thermal waters in one common area.
A fast and modern chairlift with detachable attachment and heated seats is ideal for smaller children and less skilled skiers.
There is also a newly built modern ski lift on the right side of the ski resort SKI Oravice with the departure station just above the AQUAPARK.
The top of the ski runs in SKI Oravice are located at an altitude of 1055m and offers a unique view of the Western Tatras and the Skorušinské vrchy Mountains. The total length of the runs are 7.45km. Almost all ski runs are covered with artificial snow.
For families with children there is an enclosed children's area called "Little Paradise" with its own rope tow and a ski school teaching skiing and snowboarding.
There are restaurants, snack bars, sports equipment servicing, ski and snowboard rental.
Cross-country skiing
For fans of cross-country skiing there are 35km of cross-country trails, 5km of which are continuously groomed for skating-style and classic-style skiing, and 30km of trails are ungroomed (Tichá dolina – 5km, Bobrovecká dolina – 10km and Pod Maguru – 15km).
