The ski resort of Ski Makov is situated in the region of Javorníky/Kysuce.
The base altitude of the resort is 660 m and the highest point reaches up to 948 m, for a total vertical rise of 288 m. Makov's ski season runs from December through March. Total length of the downhill runs is 6,1 km.
At Makov there are 4 chair-lifts, with total capacity of 2850 people per hour. Combination of easy and semi-difficult downhill runs creates best conditions for beginners as well as skiers who want to develop their skiing technique. Parents with children have opportunities to use ski-school for children as well as ski-lift for children, which are situated within the ski resort.
At Ski Makov there are 260 free parking places for visitors of the ski resort within 300 meters from ski-lifts.
