The Ski centrum Strednica ski area is located in the town of Ždiar in between the foothills of the Belianske Tatras and the Spiš Magura mountain range.

Ski centrum Strednica is among the oldest ski areas in the High Tatras. Skiing here has a long tradition dating back to 1952.

The new four-seat chairlift at Vtáčie turne is a new feature for the 2014/2015 season. This opens up two new intermediate pistes with lengths of 660 and 550 metres. A new snack bar also offers skiers and snowboarders refreshments near the lower stations of the chairlift.

There are 9 ski tows at the area with lengths from 80 to 460 metres and pistes for beginners and more casual skiers and snowboarders. There is a total of almost 5 km of pistes, half of which have snowmaking capabilities. Families with children can also use the ski nursery.

There is also a ski school, ski rentals, storage and service available.

Nordic skiing
Fans of Nordic skiing are sure to appreciate the 8 km of trails at the area. The trails themselves are groomed for skate skiing and classical styles to ensure they are always in good condition. All trails are 6 m wide.
