To make a stay in beautiful surroundings of Hriňová after extraordinary Farming at the "Lazy" of Hriňová a day longer, international traditional folk bands festival from the Visegrad Group regularly takes place here a Sunday after.
Festival of folklore music and traditional folk culture underneath Poľana in one of the most vivid folklore regions of Slovakia presents lovely tones provided by folk bands from the region as well as other countries. The festival starts with solemn mass, continues with ceremonial procession of horse setouts from Hriňová to Raticový vrch and culminates with the afternoon gala programme.
This year's 13th annual international folk music festival under the Poľana mountain will be held August, 18th, 2019. It comes again with the traditional crafts fair.
