Bachledka Ski & Sun , a year-round family mountain resort, is located just 30 km north of the city of Poprad in the Spišská Magura Mountains with beautiful views of the Belianske Tatry Mountains and the Zamagurie region. Three valleys merge together here, with access to the resort from each of them. The resort offers a season-long guarantee of snow, ski slopes of varying difficulty levels and interesting attractions.
Ecological, Barrier-free, Baby friendly
The Bachledka Ski & Sun resort offers visitors up to 10.8 km of ski slopes of all levels of difficulty. The availability of blue, red but also black ski runs guarantee excellent conditions not only for beginners but for experienced skiers, too. Lovers of groomed slopes will find their place, as will those who are more attracted by “freeride” skiing. During the season, a total of 9.5 km of ski slopes are kept snow-covered and groomed.
The fenced-in Bachledka Children’s World area on the Hrebeň ski slope offers the largest ski school in the area – Gorgy’s Ski School – and entertainment in the form of a mini carousel. Our professional ski instructors will teach your children to ski easily and in a playful way, and if they feel cold after skiing, they can warm up and play in the indoor children’s corner. The ski school offers 3 surface lifts (30m, 30m and 90m), a route built out of fairy-tale characters and other fun learning aids, even for the little ones, so that skiing becomes fun for all. You can choose individual or group lessons.
You can comfortably, safely, dryly and without wind ride the 10-seater Bachledka cable car from Bachledova dolina valley up to the ridge, which connects all the slopes, in just 6 minutes. More experienced skiers can also use the 4-seater Jezersko cable car and an additional 5 ski lifts, which enable skiing in three interconnected valleys. Beginners will in turn enjoy the sunny blue-level ski runs on the ridge and in the Bachledova dolina valley.
A new feature this season is a detachable 6-seater cable car with bubbles, which provide you with maximum comfort and safety during every ride. This innovative cable car built in the village Malá Franková is designed to ensure the most comfortable experience for all our visitors. The bubbles provide protection from adverse weather and increase comfort during the ride.
For ski clubs, we offer a Training Centre, which is intended primarily for the training of their members. The new slope is named after the brothers Otto and Vlado Krajňák; its length exceeds 900 m and its vertical gain is 212 m.
A winter holiday in Bachledka offers comfort for everyone. The panoramic restaurant Panorama will meet all your expectations for a satisfying trip. PANORAMA offers not only a culinary experience, but also cultural, recreational, and educational spaces for environmental education, a souvenir shop and regional specialties; there is also a café with a bar. Like many other parts of the resort, the restaurant building is barrier-free. We think of families, too, for whom a children’s corner inspired by nature and complete facilities in a baby friendly standard are available.
Facilities and comprehensive services are located in the pedestrian area of Bachledova dolina valley, where you’ll find ski and sled rental and service, a sports and souvenir shop, and an information centre along with other services.
