From 2nd to 5th July 2019, Terchová will host the 30th annual Cyril-Methodian Celebrations.

In 1990, Terchová became the first place in Slovakia (and the former Czechoslovakia) to host an event celebrating the timeless message of the two Thessalonica-born brothers – the co-patrons of Europe – and their mission. Terchová is also the only place in Slovakia to periodically celebrate the Cyril-Methodian Days with a rich programme.

This year, the organisers have prepared an interesting programme. In addition to its strong spiritual dimension, there will also be music concerts, exhibitions and other special events.
