Yes to JASNÁ!

You can get almost to the top of Chopok (2004 metres above sea level) – this is the third highest peak in the Low Tatras National Park. Jasná is the largest ski resort in Slovakia. After a day’s skiing, enjoy the tropical atmosphere, a sauna, and a massage in the Tatralandia water park. Or perhaps you would rather fly and enjoy a free fall at the unique Hurricane Factory wind tunnel nearby!

Welcome to Petra Vlhová’s home ski resort and a World Cup venue in downhill skiing, that has been recognized by the World Ski Awards six times in a row as Slovakia’s best ski resort!

Freeride zones — the top choice in central Europe

The north and south sides of Chopok, which are connected by cable cars, have a completely different character from each other; however, both have excellent conditions for winter sports. Experienced freeriders will prefer the steep chutes in the north, whereas beginners and other enthusiasts will appreciate the powder plains to the south. The freeride area at Chopok is also the venue of the Jasna Adrenalin FWQ competition, which is part of the Freeride World Tour series.

Try the Fresh Track experience

Take advantage of the slopes before they open, and be the first to enjoy this perfectly groomed terrain. An extraordinary skiing experience awaits you on these empty slopes. After your run, enjoy a fresh breakfast prepared on the slopes to replenish your energy and have a morning coffee to get you off to a great start for the day.

Animals, an underground adventure, and a UNESCO open-air museum

This place is surrounded by the Tatras (the highest mountain range in Slovakia), the peaks of the Choč Mountains, and the Veľká Fatra mountain range. There are tourist attractions and treasures galore! Of course, we are talking about the mountain region of Liptov. Take advantage of your ski break and visit the Zookontakt family park. Or you could wander around the picturesque wooden village of Vlkolínec, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Also explore the Demänovská Cave of Liberty, which is the longest cave in Slovakia.
