Another year of annual traditional waggoner's horse competition is to take place in the spa area of Sobrance in the very eastern part of Slovakia the third Sunday of August.
Waggoners will compete in three disciplines – waggoner slalom, work with wood, and power competition. After counting points in all disciplines, the best waggoner will become champion.
At this Waggoners' Horse Race visitors can look forward to a lot of horses, an excellent atmosphere and a unique cultural programme. They can also enjoy fresh home-made harvest and pig slaughter products. Anyone is warmly welcomed to come and see this show of strength and the majesty of our horse helpers!
