The only event bringing together Slovak professional theatres – Touches and Connections (Dotyky a spojenia) - has been held annually in the Slovak Chamber Theatre in Martin since 2005.
The festival focuses on bringing together and comparing the latest theatre productions in Slovakia; it provides the public with an opportunity to see the most interesting theatre productions from the theatres' past season; it allows for get-togethers and discussions of theatre professionals from throughout Slovakia and provides a scope for the theatre community to get an idea of the quality of performances of Slovakia's theatres.Source: Žilinský samosprávny kraj, Odbor informácií a zahraničných vzťahov
