The organisers of the International Theatre Festival Divadelná Nitra, taking place from 23–28 September 2016, have prepared a varied accompanying programme and many interesting events.

The 25th edition of the festival will be opened by the prestigious German ensemble Münchner Kammerspiele who will perform in Slovakia for the first time in its history. The ensemble will perform the play “WHY DOES HERR R. RUN AMOK?” directed by the young director Susanne Kennedy, a leading figure in contemporary European theatre.
