This series is truly a unique work of art – an aerial documentary with footage of castles from different, captivating perspectives.
The film contains aerial footage of 31 castles and structures later built on top of the former castle foundations, as well as other fortified structures. The aerial footage is accompanied by modern adaptations of music from the castles’ respective historical periods.
Some footage is also accompanied by the thoughts of the writer, essayist, journalist, and philosopher Gilbert Keith Chesterton.
The footage of the individual castles contains a description, including the name of the structure, the century of the creation of the first castle structure or fortified structure on the site, and the district in which the structure is located.
