During four days, Brezno and the surrounding villages come alive with lots of funny and dramatic, theatrical and musical performances. The intention of the Theatrical Chalupka/Divadelná Chalupka, as the only festival in Slovakia that is not only a festival which presents itself in the festival town, but also exports the performing arts to the surrounding villages, is to encompass the greatest region possible. The offer is traditionally rich and delivers exceptional quality performances of non-professional and professional theatres.
