Description of the route: Demanding route for its length, altitude difference and dissection of terrain. The initial long ascent from Muráň up the Hrdzavá dolina valley to the Nižná Kľaková saddle is especially demanding.
The first stretch of the trip leads through the wonderful Hrdzavá dolina valley to the grassy saddle of Nižná Kľaková situated on what is referred to as the Rudná arterial path. Passing by the Skalná brána you will descend below inaccessible limestone-dolomite rocks of the Malá and Veľká Stožka Mts. Both mountains standing close to each other above the rocky ravine of the Dudlavka brook are the National Nature Reserves. You will pass by the Malá Stožka Mt. and ascend to the Rudná arterial road.
