The Propeller Again Runs on the Danube River

On Friday, August 22, the pilot operation of the Propeller - the legendary ship, that has been connecting the Old Town/Staré mesto bank with the Petržalka bank for decades, was launched in Bratislava. The Propeller will run from Friday to Sunday.

On Friday it will start from the pontoon no. 52 in the Old Town/Staré mesto at 16.00; 17.00; 18.00 and 19.00. On Saturday and Sunday at: 11.00; 12.00; 13.00; 15.00; 16.00; 17.00; 18.00; 19.00.

The Propeller will run on the route – Old Town/Staré mesto (pontoon no. 52, between the operating site of the Propeller and the Gracia Botel), Petržalka (pontoon no. 34, former platform of the Propeller), River Park (pontoon under the Fairway Botel), it will turn near the Eurovea shopping centre and return back to the Old Town from there. The passengers can choose whether they would travel the entire route, or get off at one of the stops.

The ticket price for children is 1 euro, a ticket for adults costs 2 euros. Tickets can be purchased at the Osobný prístav/Passenger Port building or directly on the boat. Those who purchase a ticket via the Internet at www.lod.sk will have a discount of 10 %. The project partners are the Slovak Shipping and Ports - Passenger Shipping/Slovenská plavba a prístavy – lodná osobná doprava,a.s., it was financially supported by the Bratislava Tourist Board and the River Park.
