The most attractive downhill course in the Tatras is open

From mid-January 2015, skiing fans can enjoy downhill skiing on the highest black run from an altitude of 2,190m in Lomnické sedlo. The most difficult 1,240m run treated slope runs from Lomnické saddle to Skalnaté pleso. 

The ski run from Lomnické sedlo to Skalnaté pleso followed by a red run from Skalnaté pleso to Tatranská Lomnica is 5.5km long and is the longest Tatra downhill with an overall elevation of 1,300m. The average incline of the downhill run in Lomnické sedlo is 46.91%, accessibility depends upon weather conditions since this ski slope relies exclusively upon natural snow.

Experienced skiers can also enjoy the French Mogul which is one of the options for skiing down from Lomnické sedlo. The French Mogul forms the south west part of Lomnické sedlo. The demanding freeride route has a length of 1,380m and an elevation of 408m.
