Description of the route: Moderately demanding route. Switchbacks make the altitude difference between Podstráne and the Martinské hole Mts. easier. The waterlogged stretches of the passage through the dwarf pine wood can be rather unpleasant. The road will take you to the Chata na Martinských holiach cottage with possibility of refreshment. 
Both, the ascent and descent run through the thick forest but the top parts of the ridge offer nice views of both sides of the mountain range. Almost the whole of northern Turiec and Veľká Fatra Mts. are observable in the east.
