The village Budmerice situated below the mountains Malé Karpaty in western Slovakia has a long history. There is a wonderful manor house built by the Pálffy family.
Ján Pálffy built the manor house in 1889 in the romanticizing style. Its architecture contains a set of elements chosen from several historic styles. The main facade of the manor ends in a tall tower with a coat of arms.
