Description of the route: Crossing two valleys over the Priečne sedlo. A demanding high-mountain tour. The most difficult stretch starts on a rock threshold below the Téryho chata cottage and ends in a similar spot below the Zbojnícka chata cottage. Special caution is needed for the hard and skill requiring ascent to Priečne sedlo from the Téryho chata cottage. The most exposed stretches are equipped with chains.
Even in full summer season traversing of snowfields is not unusual. Other stretches of the tour are comparatively easy, with small elevation gain. The yellow-marked footpath across the Priečne sedlo is closed in winter. Ascents to both cottages in winter season are not altogether safe or possible either. The tour tracing the triangle created by three tourist paths is one of the most favourite in the High Tatras. Tourists like it because of beautiful natural setting in the couple of the wonderful Studené doliny valleys and the dramatic moments when passing the Priečne sedlo.
