Description of the route: Moderately difficult and demanding tour. Although there are no difficult ascents, it is comparatively long. It runs in comfortable terrain mostly on well-marked forest roads. The route starts in the picturesque environs of the Palcmanská Maša water reservoir and ascends the ridge at the boundary of the regions of Spiš and Gemer.
Comfortable passage on the undulated wide ridge offers plenty of views of the Stratenská dolina valley and its environs including the northern Gemer. The descent heads to the Stratenská dolina valley and to the one of the most beautiful ice caves in the world - the Dobšinská ľadová jaskyňa cave.
