Cleanliness is one of the most important factors for satisfying hotel guests. And in this regard, Slovakia can be rightfully proud of its hotels.

In a survey on the hotel reservation portal Hotel.de, Slovakia was ranked first and earned the title of the country with the cleanest hotels in Europe!

Guests who booked their hotel through Hotel.de marked Slovak hotels with an average grade of 8.78 out of 10. We surpassed second-ranked Bulgaria (8.70) and third-ranked Switzerland (8.66).

The top ten list also included Poland, Austria, Croatia, Germany, Portugal, the Czech Republic and Romania.

Denmark, Norway and the United Kingdom, on the other hand, ended up on the bottom of the list.
