Description of the route: Difficult and exacting all-day high-mountain tour with large altitude difference. Only the Kamenná chata cottage below the Chopok Mt. offers emergency shelter and refreshment. Do not abandon the ridge trail; northern slopes abruptly descending to the calderas at the end of the valley Demänovská dolina are especially dangerous.
The path avoids the Dereše Mt. The detour to the top is worth the toil if you want to have a nice view of the environs. The Kamenná chata cottage at Chopok offers refreshment and the possibility to climb to the taller eastern top of the Chopok Mt.
