On 31 January 2015, Hriňová will host the 12th Annual Winter Wagoner's Race with Dray Horses.
The Wagoner's Race starts with a parade of wagoner's through the town of Hriňová at 9.00am. The race will take place at 10.00am next to the football pitch in Murinka in Hriňová. The race will contain three disciplines which are timed slalom, strength in pairs and individual strength. The competition will culminate in an announcement of the wagoner of the day.Visitors will have the chance to taste homemade hog feast products and refreshments from stands.
