The 12th year of the traditional Štyavnyca Christmas Fair will take place from11 and 12 December 2015 in the Kammerhof courtyard.

Visitors can look forward to an unrepeatable pre-Christmas atmosphere made special by the aroma of traditional Christmas specialities (sauerkraut soup, Christmas wafers, sausages, KRAMPAMPULA...), the sale of Christmas trees, original products from the workshops of skilled craftsmen. A rich cultural programme is waiting for your as well, featuring the baking of wafers in a historic cast in the fire, lead casting, St. Lucy’s customs (customs and superstitions typical on St. Lucy's day), a live nativity scene, performances by children from kindergartens and the town’s elementary school and Elementary School of Arts, and so much more.
