The Central Slovakia Gallery in Banská Bystrica is presenting an exhibition by Boris Németh and Ján Viazanička “Slovakia's Transformations/ A Documentary Report which offers a concentrated view of Slovakia through the eyes of experienced photographers.

The authors have been travelling across the country, recording exceptional events and banal situations, noticing human traces in the landscape, in the rural and town environment, following everyday culture as well as traditional holidays or modern celebrations.
The realistic tour of the country as put forward by these two perceptive artists freezes the smile on your face and poses awkward questions on Slovakia as a land where a “seemingly funny absurdity” (un) subtly jumps out at the photographer around every corner.
