In the wine area, from year to year we receive great respect and reputation in the world. This is proven by the excellent results that Slovak winemakers received at one of the most followed international competitions Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.
Our winegrowers brought a total of 33 medals, including one large gold, 16 gold and 16 silver, from the capital of Belgium.More than eight thousands wines from fifty countries in the world were presented at the competition.300 tasters, who were divided into fifty 5-7 membered commissions, rated the wines in total. Different groups of professionals, oenologists, sommeliers, scientists, surveyors, wine merchants and especially journalists writing about wine, were in the jury.
