Description of the route: A very popular ascent to the tallest peak of Poland. Demanding high-mountain tour. The most difficult stretch (walked in both directions) on rock threshold below the cottage Chata pod Rysmi is secured by fixed chains. Another steep stretches are avoided by meanders. The summit of the Rysy Mt. is also accessible from the Polish side. The red-marked footpath to the Rysy Mt. is closed in winter and the same applies for what is called "the summer way" between Štrbské and Popradské pleso lakes where there is the risk of snow avalanches.
