Description of the route: All-day demanding trip. The difficulty is in the length rather than in dissection of the terrain. The ridge tour maintains its sea level altitude at 1,300 m in the stretch from Ploská to Krížna. Only the initial ascent of the ridge is demanding. It may be difficult to find your way in the stripped stretches of the ridge in bad weather. The tourist cottage Chata pod Borišovom is an ideal spot for shelter and refreshment in emergency. The marking of the trail is mostly well distinguishable and logic. The ridge tour in Veľká Fatra is a favourite one of the hikers due to the varied landscape it runs in.
