Description of the route: The route runs through the valley Mengusovská dolina toward the lake Popradské pleso, one of the most visited spots in the High Tatras. The lake lies amid the forest at the sea level altitude of 1,494 m. Eponymous hotel, popular place for relaxation, stands on its shore. 
The route leads by the Symbolical cemetery situated in limba grove below the western flank of the Ostrva Mt. where mountaineers and tourists victims of accidents in the Tatras are buried. The cemetery contains a small chapel with shingle roof, precious old tombstones and crosses and tens of commemorative tablets. Slovak mountaineers who lost their lives elsewhere in the world have also their tablets in this cemetery.
