Opera festival with a new look - a new international opera festival, the Operalia Banská Bystrica, which is directly related to a more than 40-year tradition of the presentation of the opera part of the Castle Performances of Zvolen (Zámockých hier zvolenských), shall enrich the range of musical events in Slovakia, from 20 - 22 August, 2015.

In the scope of the introductory year, two major opera productions: The Nabucco by the composer G. Verdi, from the repertoire of the State Opera with exclusive visiting soloists and a theatre performance from the Czech Republic, shall be staged. As well the event, in which the rising opera singers have the opportunity to introduce themselves, is preserved - it will be held under the name of Operalia Talent, in the concert hall of the Banska Bystrica Town Hall.
