The Open-Air Museum of Bee Keeping (Múzeum včelárstva na Slovensku) is another interesting exhibition situated in the area of Včelárska paseka near Senec.
It displays unique old hives, pops, baskets and various utensils used in bee keeping. The oldest of them is from the 17th century. The more recent exhibits are from the 19th and 20th centuries among which the figural hives, special beekeeping outfits and tools can be admired. Apart from the opportunity to see the bee from a famous Slovak film A thousand year old bee, visitors can also taste and buy bee products, honey and honey distillate.
