The Museum of Považie in Žilina is situated in the premises of the Budatín Castle on the northern outskirts of Žilina.
Although there is an ongoing reconstruction, the expositions in the Budatín Castle are open all year round, showcasing exhibits from the collections of the Museum of Považie from the field of tinker craft, natural sciences (zoology, botany and geology), history of transport, archeology and the history of Žilina and its surroundings.Permanent expositions:
