The mini open-air museum of wooden churches in the grounds of the Basilica minor pilgrimage site in Ľutin presents in one place all 41 wooden churches in the Prešov region together with a few churches from the Polish border region. To date, over 40 wooden churches, mainly Greek Catholic, have been preserved in eastern Slovakia. Their origins mainly go back to the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Each of these churches is original and unique. Their worldwide value is highlighted by the inclusion of eight wooden churches from the Slovak part of the Carpathian arc in the UNESCO list.
In Ľutin, you can see exact replicas of the originals at a scale of 1:10. Next to each church, there are also information panels with its description and brief history.
