During the first weekend in August, the magnificent Zvir Mountain above village of Litmanová invites pilgrims for deep, soothing prayer.

The village of Litmanová, not far from town of Stará Ľubovňa, has come to attention in recent decades. Between August 5th, 1990 and August 6th, 1995, the Virgin Mary appeared on several occasions to two girls on Zvir hill overlooking the village. Pilgrims from almost 30 countries, including Japan, India or New Zealand, have already visited Zvir hill.
