The Krňačky Race in Turecká will take place on February 9th, 2019. You are invited to join in the 11th Slovak Krňačky Race Championship and the 44th annual awarding of the Krížna Prize. Formerly a part of the Shrovetide customs, racing these traditional sleigh is still popular in areas with lots of snow.
Enjoy some guaranteed fun thanks to the wild historical “horned sleigh” race – on sleighs constructed without a single nail or screw – in the beautiful environment of Veľká Fatra Mountains.
