The notion of "overlapping" in the event name is not linked only to the authorship origin of works, but also to the attempt to show the artistic creation of Košice in a wider contemporary context.
Exhibition visitors will thus be able to see works from the period before the first world war, from the thirties, as well as an interesting selection of posters and book design.
The exhibition is prepared in the newly renovated art gallery on Hlavná street. Visitors will be able to learn about the cultural-historical context of the emergence of modernism in Košice before seeing works proper.
