Description of the route: Instructive path in form of a closed circuit introduces visitors to the natural assets of the eastern part of the Slovenský kras. It consists of eight stops with information panels: The Zádielska tiesňava gorge, Geomorphology, Plants, Animals, Economic exploitation of plateaux, Zádiel in the remote past, Dolines, and Forest associations. This moderately demanding route runs through the National Nature Reserve of Zádielska tiesňava which spreads on an area of 215 hectares; its most interesting parts include the canyon of the Zádielska tiesňava gorge modelled by the Blatnický potok brook incised into the Zádielska planina plateau. The path was opened in 1977 and reconstructed in 1992. Only the ascent to the edge of the Zádielská planina plateau and the descent to Zádiel are somewhat demanding.
