Description of the route: The instructive path of Stožky introduces visitors to the most characteristic natural assets of the National Nature Reserves of Veľká Stožka and Malá Stožka. The path is accessible by the blue-marked asphalt road leading from Závadka nad Hronom and is comparatively long. Therefore we recommend to tourists with a car - in order to save their time - to drive up to the valley of Hronec and to leave car close to the gamekeepers lodge Klátna. The instructive path starts from the gamekeepers lodge Pätina and it is 7.3 km long. It consists of seven stops with information panels which describe the rock relief of the territory, conserved virgin forest associations, original relic woods of deciduous larch where several rare plants occur. The route is not difficult except for the fact that it starts and ends in Závadka nad Hronom, which makes it moderately demanding.
