Festivities celebrating harvest are important elements of traditional culture in the region. At
Myjava's Harvest Home, folklore and other related musical genres are a popular part of the
cultural programme that attracts many visitors including young people. At local Padelky area and on nearby pastures, the demonstrations of various agricultural activities will take place while traditional crafts will presented at a crafts fair in the Reeve's yard, all in harmony between the environment and the activities organised during
the event.

traditional dishes, the festival offers performances of folklore singers and musicians throughout whole
Saturday, and a thanksgiving ceremony with a
public worship at the local church of Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Slovakia on Sunday morning.
