The most successful female slovak skier Veronika Velez Zuzulová will bid farewell to her phenomenal career in Jasná. She will be accompanied by her family, friends, the female skier Petra Vlhová, sponsors as well as her fans, who have been there all the time to encourage her.
A parallel slalom will be held on April 7th in the area of Priehyba led by Veronika Velez Zuzulová. Veronika has invited people, who are important to her, whether in her private or professional life. With each of them, she will compete between the gates. During short breaks between individual rides, you can enjoy absorbing interviews with Veronika and her guests conducted by the excellent sports presenter Slávo Jurko.

Veronika Velez Zuzulová was born on July 15th, 1984 in Bratislava. From her early childhood she has been coached by her father, a former ski racer Timothy Zuzula. They were together in the small family club SkiZu Bratislava for several years, later she was a member of the army club Dukla Banská Bystrica. At the age of 14 she won a giant slalom at the unofficial Trofeu Topolino World School Championships. She has been World Cup ski racer since the age of 16. She has achieved many excellent podium finishes. The year 2016 was triumphant for Veronika when she reached up to six podium finishes within the World Cup, one of them in her homeland in the Jasná ski resort at the Women's World Championships. In 2012, Veronika married Romain Velez, her coach. She has had several complications and injuries during her career. The last time it was a serious knee injury in September 2017. Despite the difficult surgery and hard rehabilitation, Veronika was again able to stand on the start line at the World Cup in slalom in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, in January 2018. She introduced herself at the Winter Olympics in Pjongchang in March 2018, where she was a flag bearer of the Slovak Olympic Team during the opening ceremony. Veronika will finish her excellent career and say goodbye to the ski world at the World Cup in Ofterschwang, Germany in March 2018 during the women's slalom. On 7thAapril 2018, she will come to the Jasná ski resort to bid farewell to her fans in Slovakia.
