The latest exposition of the Slovak Mining Museum that has been made available is an hereditary draining mining gallery, which is counted among the earliest in the Štiavnica region.
The mining gallery became well known after it was visited by several sovereigns (from the House of Habsburg) in the past and notable personalities in the present. Commemorative boards in the gallery mark the visits of the most prominent of these people. Each visitor enters this authentic underground area wearing an overall, a helmet and a head lamp.
A visit to the Glanzenberg mining gallery may be combined with a Royal Route tour with lower admission fees.
