Dear friends, we invite you to the 12th edition of the experiential "Beh za Tatry" (Run for the Tatras) at Štrbské Pleso, taking place on 6 September 2025. This is not just a sports event – it is a celebration of nature, health, community, and solidarity. The event is open to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Once again, there will be two course lengths: 3.65 km – suitable for beginners and for those who want to enjoy the atmosphere and support the High Tatras. Walking is welcome too. 7.3 km – for those who are up for a challenge. While not long, the character and elevation of the route will satisfy even those focused on performance. Children's races for all age groups will also be part of the program.

Michal Suja Memorial

The Michal Suja Memorial is a trail running race held in the village of Markušovce as part of the Spiš Running League. There are two race tracks: 1. Babiná Trail – 8 km with 10 categories, and 2. International Cycling Race – Tour of Slovakia 2025

This year's edition of the Tour of Slovakia will run from east to west and offer a diverse mix of terrain – from flat stretches and technical sections to demanding mountain finishes. The event will start in the historic town of Bardejov, with the peloton crossing multiple Slovak regions before reaching the final climb at the iconic Kohútka summit in the Javorníky mountains. The route will pass through six Slovak regions – from Prešov, Košice, Banská Bystrica, Nitra, Trnava to Trenčín. Each region will offer unique scenery, technical challenges, and enthusiastic fans along the roads. On a route nearly 800 kilometers long, the peloton will ride through more than 80 Slovak towns and villages, creating the backdrop for an unforgettable sporting experience.

Riders will cover a total of 795.2 kilometers over five stages:
Stage 1: Bardejov – Bardejov | 140.2 km
Stage 2: Svidník – Košice | 170.2 km
Stage 3: Kežmarok – Banská Bystrica | 191.7 km
Stage 4: Vráble – Sládkovičovo | 169.1 km

Oktoberfest Run Nitra 2025: Half Marathon

The second edition of a unique sporting event combining the running challenge with the unforgettable atmosphere of Oktoberfest. In 2025, the race expands with a half marathon route (21.095 km) held on a certified track by the Slovak Athletic Federation (SAZ) with a solid asphalt surface. Competitors can participate as individuals, relay teams (3×7 km), or in the shorter Family & Senior Run discipline (2 km). The final discipline is a Charity Run, covering 7.3 km to support little Oliverko from Nitra.
