The Bojnice Cultural Centre presents the programme of this year's Saffron Summer in Bojnice. Concerts, performances, fairs, exhibitions, children’s programmes, literary evenings, and many other exciting events are prepared. Saffron Summer in Bojnice starts in June and will last until 13 September 2025. We believe you will find your favourites in the programme and visit the picturesque town of Bojnice. Saffron Summer is a series of events for all age groups during the 2025 summer tourist season. Most events have free admission. Programme subject to change. The event is organised with the financial support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Slovak Republic. The events "Saffron Fairytales" and "Legends Come to Life" are organised with financial support from the Creative Institute Trenčín, n.o., the ECoC project, and the Trenčín Self-Governing Region.

Beh za Tatry

Dear friends, we invite you to the 12th edition of the experiential "Beh za Tatry" (Run for the Tatras) at Štrbské Pleso, taking place on 6 September 2025. This is not just a sports event – it is a celebration of nature, health, community, and solidarity. The event is open to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Once again, there will be two course lengths: 3.65 km – suitable for beginners and for those who want to enjoy the atmosphere and support the High Tatras. Walking is welcome too. 7.3 km – for those who are up for a challenge. While not long, the character and elevation of the route will satisfy even those focused on performance. Children's races for all age groups will also be part of the program.

Knights at Devín

To kick off the new school year, the fencing group TOSTABUR has prepared the event Knights at Devín, offering both fun and learning. The goal of this educational and entertaining event is to bring history to life and present it in an engaging way to a broad audience – especially families with children. Days of Masters ÚĽUV 2025

On 6 and 7 September 2025, the Days of Masters ÚĽUV will transform the centre of Slovakia’s capital into a vibrant craft square for the 35th time. Visitors can enjoy demonstrations of traditional techniques, live craft performances, a market of master artisan products, a rich cultural programme, and popular creative workshops for children organized by the ÚĽUV School of Crafts – listed in the UNESCO Register of Good Safeguarding Practices. The event will also feature an outdoor exhibition titled “Celebrating Craft. 80 Years Already,” a family relaxation and play zone, and gastronomy areas offering traditional Slovak cuisine.

Radvanský Fair

The tradition of fairs has been connected to the history of Banská Bystrica since the 17th century. The first fair in Radvany, then an independent village, took place in 1657. It gradually became one of the most significant fairs in Hungary at the time, mainly renowned for its high-quality and diverse goods. Sellers from various regions, both distant and nearby, came to the fair. The Radvanský Fair is listed on the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Slovakia. You can look forward to not only handicraft products but also fair specialties, cultural programs, and fun attractions. We invite you to the 367th edition of the fair.

Traditional Trnava Fair 2025

This year, you can look forward to the Traditional Trnava Fair, which will showcase traditional folk crafts. The fair will once again feature the program "Medieval Under the Walls," the "Fairy Tale World" program, and the "Folk Celebration" at the renovated SNP Square. The fair will take place in the streets of the city center.

Oktoberfest Run Nitra 2025: Half Marathon

The second edition of a unique sporting event combining the running challenge with the unforgettable atmosphere of Oktoberfest. In 2025, the race expands with a half marathon route (21.095 km) held on a certified track by the Slovak Athletic Federation (SAZ) with a solid asphalt surface. Competitors can participate as individuals, relay teams (3×7 km), or in the shorter Family & Senior Run discipline (2 km). The final discipline is a Charity Run, covering 7.3 km to support little Oliverko from Nitra. ACCOMPANYING PROGRAM: - Music stage, - Street food zone, - Craft markets, - Fun zone for children, - Partner promo booths.
