The largest traveling wine tasting event in Slovakia will arrive on Saturday, November 8th, at the Imperial-Royal Riding Hall in Nové Zámky. Connect the story of the venue with the aroma and flavor of the finest wines and discover new dimensions of winemaking artistry. Unlimited tasting awaits you, featuring wines from renowned winemakers from Slovakia and abroad, including the winners of the 11th edition of the Danube Wine Challenge. The list of winemakers will be gradually published on the website and social media. Tickets include unlimited wine tasting and a €5 coupon for purchasing wine to take home. On-site tasting entry will be available for €25.

St. Martin’s Sunday

Once again, we invite you to a magical event celebrating the long-standing tradition of St. Martin’s fairs in Bojnice. It will take place in the courtyard of the Bojnice Municipal Library and will feature a market offering various handmade crafts, treats, and hot drinks. You can also enjoy traditional roasted goose and folk music performed by Polianočka. To close the day, St. Martin himself will appear in Roman armor on a white horse, parading through Bojnice — and perhaps even past your home. In the Footsteps of the Noble Lords of the Trenčín Region

A new cooperative event titled In the Footsteps of the Noble Lords of the Trenčín Region brings a rich pre-Christmas program and festive markets across four Advent weekends. Visitors and spectators will be guided through the events by four historical figures – noble lords. In Trenčín, they will be welcomed by Sigismund of Luxembourg; in Prievidza by Empress Maria Theresa; in Handlová by Heinrich Kricker; and in Bojnice by Count Ján František Pálffy. The event will take place during four Advent weekends in each town, with each city hosting its main program on a dedicated weekend: Trenčín (28–30 Nov), Prievidza (5–7 Dec), Handlová (12–14 Dec), and Bojnice (19–21 Dec 2025). Visitors can also look forward to a new mobile app In the Footsteps of Experiences and an accompanying competition.

ADVENTUS DOMINI - Let’s Light Up Bojnice Together

Let’s light up Bojnice together with hope in a procession of lights, led by Count Ján Pálffy. This year we will illuminate not only the Christmas tree, but also the new alley lighting, the first candle on the new Advent wreath, and even the park and the castle. The event starts at Bojnice Castle at 16:30. Don’t forget to bring your own lights. In case of bad weather, the organizers reserve the right to modify the program.
