An international exhibition of art held at the manor house in Moravany nad Váhom. The upcoming edition is the 6th year of the exhibition called the Slovak Venice. The art of mystification will present artistic projects that purposely choose strategies associated with a certain kind of deception as their modus operandi. They do so critically, however, often responding to current societal phenomena and new technologies. They also reflect and make visible different types of manipulation through art in the thrall of ideology in the past, which was used programmatically for this purpose.

Noc hudby (A Night of Music) – the opening event of the Bratislava Cultural Summer 2024

The streets of Bratislava will be reverberating with the sounds of the street festival Noc hudby (A Night of Music / Fête de la Musique). Dozens of musicians will celebrate this festival of music together by performing at several sites in the city centre. The festival, which has its roots in France, takes place in more than 120 countries around the world on the same day. In one evening, residents and visitors alike can discover unknown musical names and enjoy musical performances of various genres at interesting locations. Bratislava thus joins hundreds of cities around the world where music is celebrated on the summer solstice.

The 49th year of the popular summer festival begins this month and brings with it a diverse offer of cultural programme throughout Bratislava.
