The goal of the Open Parks and Gardens Weekend event is to bring closer the beauty of our parks and gardens, as well as to spread the ideas of active protection and proper maintenance of these spaces. The concept of opening parks and gardens and making their values accessible to the public is implemented in several countries around the world. The Open Parks and Gardens Weekend is part of this international initiative, showcasing Slovak parks and gardens as an important part of Europe’s green heritage. The main theme of the 17th edition of the event is "Stone in the Garden."

International Theatre Festival Divadelná Nitra

The symbolic indicator of the prevailing theme of the festival and the common denominator of the topics of the individual works is the festival's subtitle, which changes every year. The theme of the 2025 International Theatre Festival Divadelná Nitra is "Right/Here and Right/Now!" The basic premise is to highlight the issue of fundamental rights in relation to society or citizens, the environment, with an emphasis on the urgency and relevance of their threat. The theme Right/Here and Right/Now! is meant to be a testimony to the first quarter-century of the new millennium.

Turiec Folklore Festival

Opera Fest at the Castle 2025

We invite you to two unique evenings on the western terrace of Bratislava Castle. The fifth edition will open with a grand opera gala concert divided into two parts.
