Šamorín will once again become the center of the swimming world as it hosts the European Junior Swimming Championships. From July 1 to 6, 2025, you'll have the opportunity to watch young talents deliver amazing performances at the beautiful sports complex. Don't miss the chance to see future champions live. In addition, remember the European U-23 Swimming Championships, which will take place just a few days earlier at the same venue.
Spartan race 2025

Spartan summer kicks off in Valčianska Valley. The Spartan race will test not only your physical fitness but also your determination. It will be a wild weekend starting on Saturday morning with the Spartan Super course, 10 km long with 25 obstacles, set in the picturesque hills of the Malá Fatra mountains. The afternoon continues with the Spartan Sprint race, 5 km with 20 obstacles. On Sunday, we complete the Trifecta with the Beast race, featuring 21 km and 30 obstacles. At noon on both days, the youngest Spartans will take on the hills in the Spartan Kids races. The event will take place in all weather conditions.

"When you think you can't go any further, you can go three times more." This unsupported race is intended for cyclists determined to take on the challenge of nature in the Spiš region. It is a tremendous test of endurance, where participants battle not only tough terrain but also themselves on extremely demanding routes. Finishing order and prizes don’t matter—completing this unique and extreme event on selected existing cycling routes of Spiš is the real victory. It’s not only a test of cycling skills, but also a sporting and social event that promotes the Spiš region and its rich potential for cycle tourism for all who enjoy spending their free time actively.

The KENNY Slovak Enduro Cup kicks off at the popular Bikefest in Kálnica and will include five rounds in various locations. One of these exciting stops is Bojnice – so get ready! The event is supported by main partners: AHAtech, Bikeroom, Q-servis Slivka, MTBIKER.sk, the city of Bojnice, Garmin Slovakia, and the Slovak Cycling Federation. Media coverage is provided by Biker magazine and Bicyklizmus. The event is organized with financial support from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Slovak Republic.
Run the Forests

Run the Forests is a series of 7 races held in unique natural locations from May to September 2025, attracting runners with routes that are 80% on soft terrain and 100% in fresh air. Each race offers a choice of distances: approximately 5 km, around 10 km, and a longer route of about 20 km. The event also includes children’s races and team competitions. Highlights of the series include the fairy-tale village of Čičmany, the genuine wilderness of the Greater Fatra Mountains, a run along the Tree Tops Trail, the beautiful surroundings of the Topoľčianky wine region, and other scenic locations.
